Little RR spent a few hours this morning in the "Preschool 1" room, as she starts her transition out of "Toddlers". By all accounts she wasn't too thrilled at this development; however equanimity was restored by the afternoon.
I worked a little later than usual this evening before calling home, and this did not go un-noticed. At home, RR sat down and pointed at the sofa beside her. "Daddy sit right here!" "Talk Daddy!" T dialed for her, and she repeated the demand to me over the phone. Clearly, it was high time to go home.
I had been catching up at work, since I started the morning sitting in on T's ultrasound. The doctor says everything looks good, and in early December RR can expect to greet her baby sister. Yay! We've been talking in general terms about it with her, but I don't think she has entirely grasped the concept.

Squee!!! *Two* sets of Mary Janes. I'm so excited for you.:)
When I took RR to the park this afternoon, she said "DG sit on the bench!" several times. She's definitely in imperial command mode these days!
Love the two pairs of shoes photo
