Another day notable chiefly in the fact that it was not THE day. She felt something that might have been "real" contractions around 3 am, but they were apparently more of the same Braxton-Hicks type and subsequently faded away.
Once all the preparations are made, the universal advice is to get lots of rest ahead of time. That, of course, is sometimes easier said than done. T can't seem to get comfortable in any position for very long, and sleep is elusive. (At least for her... to add insult to injury, I'm still sleeping like a log.)

I would have suggested storing up on that sleep PRE-pregnancy, myself. :-D
From the perspective of ten years on, I think I can count on the fingers of one hand the nights I've slept through, as a parent. Not to discourage you, or anything.
The end-game is rough, but the amazement thereafter overcomes all sleep-deprivation, I promise!
Hang in there! I recommend using these days in limbo learning to blog one-handed from your cell.
All my love across the continent,

Yes, it would have been nice if someone had told me to store up on sleep in the 2nd trimester. By the time my third one rolled around my creaking pirate hips woke me up every 3 hours. Thank god for the (softer) sofa, I slept better there than in bed.
My mom has a joke: "every time I take a sleeping pill, the baby sleeps through the night."
